Hippo journey around the world.

A friend of mine who lives in New York decided to take little blue hippo I made to her trip to Belarus. Well, I can say the Hippo didn't want to leave. Looking so sad... Cheer up! It is only for a month :) And I'm sure you will enjoy the trip
Sending me hugs and kisses from New York Airport.

Sweet and sour sugar gliders

Honestly, I didn't know critters like this exist before one lady asked me to make one)
Sugar glider is a small gliding possum. They can be found all throughout the northern and eastern parts of mainland Australia, as well as the surrounding islands of Tasmania, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia. They live in any forest where there is food supply but are commonly found in forests with eucalyptus trees. They are nocturnal. At night, they hunt for insects and small vertebrates and feed on the sweet sap of certain species of eucalyptus, acacia and gum trees. The sugar glider is named for its preference for nectarous foods and its ability to glide through the air, much like a flying squirrel.
They are so cute, aren't they?
This is my newest creation. This little guy is made of carded wool. his eyes are hematite beads. He measures approx. x 9 cm long, 3,5 cm tall and 7 cm wide.
Needle felted sugar glider pins.

Foxes?)

Do you adore foxes the way I adore them?)
This little Fennec fox is very popular in my shop, so I gues you do)))
The Fennec Fox is a small nocturnal fox found in the Sahara of North Africa. Its most distinctive feature is unusually large ears. The Fennec is the smallest species of canid in the world; coat, ears and kidney functions have adapted to a high-temperature, low-water, desert environment. In addition, its hearing is sensitive enough to hear prey moving underground.
The fennec fox brooch.
and the fox brooch too

The fox is a single red stroke that cuts across
the clearing. The colour seems to hang like smoke,
you can almost see where she has come from.
Her musk (though you can smell nothing)
is specific like a thumbprint on the air.
It isn’t raining but there’s a kind of wet
on your face, a stickiness of insect juices dropped.
The fox is rusty-dull, discreet, not radiant or hot
or pulsing. Not agitated. Not randy.
She is completely dream and intelligence
sliding through the wet grass, the stinging nettles,
the little brittle helmets of dry seed,
a flower or two, relics of the drizzly, petalled summer.
The lyric fox goes down to the creek
where dark and dankness will mask her scent
and the lovely rosette of her face.
She’ll be able to pause there, for a while, sip water
while the dogs swirl and bell in front of the Big House.

haven't posted anything for such a long time... I guess I'm not that good in posting)))
Here comes...
the Hedgehog!))
Needle felted hedgie with German mohair back)

His back is stuck with prickly pins
That breezes whistle through,
And when the winter-time begins
The only thing to do
Is just to find a leafy spot,
And curl up from the rain,
Until the Spring comes bright and hot,
To waken him again.

The owls and rats and all their folk
Are soft and smooth to touch,
But hedgehogs are not nice to stroke,
Their prickles hurt so much.
So though it looks a little queer,
His coat is best of all;
For nobody could interfere
With such a bristly ball.

He is approx. 10x9 cm (4 x 4 inches)
